I have installed digimoto (i downloaded it reading the instuctions here) and it works allright

but when i connect the cable to the car, it seems that there is no connection, it shows this message
"System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventArgs"

i have windows vista at my laptop

does anyone else have the same problem?

is it a problem of the VCP?

the car is a peugeot 106 S16 date 2001, i am from greece

I have Vista and have the same ELM device you bought. Been able to hook it up to a Lexus and a Ford and do get a connection, but still am not receiving any readings in the program. I did get the crack to work, but it seems to have a lot of issues with vista.

I did finally get the program to work, but I get a lot of errors (windows I have to click on) before the numbers will come up, but the program now runs.

Hi all, I have an ELM 327, v1.3a and it connects to Digimoto via ELM, COM ___, bits per second at 38400, linked to a Toyota Auris 2010, even tried to make a DTC by removing the MAF connector, Digimoto seen the DTC and could erased it, but the DTC was not linked to the defect, something about a Cylinder... but it works, i reconnect the connector to MAF sensor and erase by Digimoto the DTC and works.
