I have an Openbox V8S and a motorised dish. I have no idea if the box is genuine or a clone, I bought it on eBay a few months ago from a seller that had sold over 1,000 of them and listed the boxes as genuine. I know this isn't much to go on (I mean who would list the boxes as clones?) but just to be on the safe side, I haven't attempted to upgrade the firmware as I've heard this can potentially brick cloned boxes.
Anyway, the problem I've started having is that on certain satellites I am unable to enter the "TP List" screen to enter a transponder manually. It works for some satellites such as Astra 19.2, 28.2 & Turksat 42.0 but when I attempt it on 7.0E/10.0E/12.5W (and possibly others that I haven't yet attempted) the box will just reboot itself as soon as I click on "TP List". This is incredibly frustrating, especially as I like to sometimes view feeds posted on Satelliweb - the only way round it currently is to clear the entire channel list for those sats and do a blind scan which will then pick up the feeds I want to see. It's not ideal though, manually scanning them in would take only around 1 minute to do rather than a blind scan which can take up to 10 minutes.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue or have any ideas on how I might be able to sort this?
