Hi DK mates, auto locksmithing is my thing usually. But does anyone know anything about Hilti power tools immobiliser?
Need to get one working for a builder friend.
It immobilises itself after 'X' amount of hours usage, and needs taken to dealer for a costly 'service'
Need advice on how to reset/bypass or even restore hours to eeprom maybe?

Did some research and some also come with Hilti's 'TPS' systems. These need key fob things to get working before use (work like transponders maybe?)
I've also heard of Hilti tool's dealer software called 'Hilti ODA' which can do diagnostics, service resets/key programming etc.
Please let me know DK mates if you know anything about this sort of thing. Been asked twice now to assist with immobilised power tools :haha:

Maybe a new niche in the market...

Thanks for that Meat [emoji106]
I'll check that out. Not found anything super enlightening yet but I'm going to take his breaker to bits and inspect the PCB.

Will post any developments...

Still not found anything about where to get this elusive ODA Hilti software yet.
