2011 triumph rocket 3 speedo km change help

hi all i have a speedo from a 2011 triumph rocket 3 i need to change the km up from 2898 miles to around 14500 miles (not sure on exact number yet) but its a sealed unit and i dont really want to prise the chrome bevel off has anyone done this is it possible to cut some of the backing away to get to the eeprom? also need a pinout, the motorbike have a obd2 port and runs on k line protocol maybe the eeprom can be changed over k line?

Landrover defender .. Harley .. a lot of them are like that .. you need to remove the bezel( carefully :)

Anyone know of a tool to open these without too much damage?

i opened it with various size flat head screwdrivers carefully prising the edge up bit by bit until i could slide it off with my thumb nail

I managed that the best for it is small tea spoon - using it You have got good laverage power as well and no marks on plastic case and sharp bends on metal bezel
