there are 2 sockets for 3 sensors, I don't see other socket that can be disconnected and only solution I guess is to remove the fault for this error

Hello, I need help with this one EDC17C06, the car had dpf off and I only made EGR off with ASC Equipments program, only issue is that the error for EGR returns as shown in the picture '4501' it's the 'equivalent of 'P0401' if that helps.

Although I have paid subscription to ASC their solutions don't seem 100% tested, on diagnosis I can see EGR duty cycle at 4% when idle but while revving the car over 3000rpm it sometimes changes for couple of seconds to 60% while returning to idle so I'm not certain egr is fully disabled but hope the fault code can be removed.

Ofcourse you can't - they tell you, that the ECU have a PROGRAM fault.
The problem is in the eeprom probably...

Hey gents,

Can you please help remove 28B4 DTC in this file? The fault is "Valvetronic servomotor, sluggish movement" and the ECU is an MEV17N46 on a 320i BMW.

Yes, all VVT, eccentric shaft, cabling, etc has been replaced already and this fault only comes up once or twice a month. The car pulls perfect so in this car that setting is just a little too sensitive.

Just cut (two) fat wire. Works if your possition sensor in EGR valve is OK.

P1517 & U1118 - you have immo off, because of the some fault in the BSI (probably)
P0380 - you have a fault in the pre-glow system... just fix it.

This does not have a faulty boost valve and the MAP sensor is working correctly, both checked and double checked with scope and vacuum gauges. This is an intermittent sporadic fault generated by the ECU which happens once in a Blue moon. Not a wiring fault either.
Believe me i actually fix cars the proper way by investigating and analyzing the symptoms and causes. This was done at the vehicle owners request after discussion and explanations.
Anyway sorted now.
