Got email today from ec***ol and they said all prices reduced thought great will buy the launch x431 diagun. So logged in and my price as a vip has gone up $400, how can it go up $400 in 24hrs. just seems a bit funny may have a look at ecubase. :giveup: Has anyone had any dealings with ecubase good or bad please let us know

Have you taken a look at the launch autobook ? pretty much the same as the x431 without the printer and price tag, 12 months free updates and so on .

i am waiting for some as we speak, i will be doing tham at about ?900.oo to the general public .

No mate , i use sources i have used for the past 7 years .

Like i say seem to have the same software and so on but i will let you know when i have put one though the mill .

My X431 got damaged by a battery charger that was connected to test vehicle :eek: It's a proper UK issue but I owe them for updates I didn't pay for... :hmmmm2:

from what i gathered, i dont think they clone, however their supply definitely comes from china, most likely they will use cloned products 2 repair your x431, saying that, they could be just as good parts considering the x431 is produced in china.

i'v never used them so i couldnt guarantee them, but saying that if you dont trust them, im sure you can ask them 2 repair while-u-wait, theres no harm in trying, they're located in manchester i think.

Has anyone used a LAUNCH X-431 Diagun (http://www.ecutool.com/productshow.asp?id=1730&sortsid=3599&sorts=New%20Products) as i am thinking of investing in one it seems to have all functions of x431 but cheaper faster and smaller. Any info greatly appreciated
My only and sincere advise to you is to avoid some chinese sellers that offer you all garantees and after purchasing, and when you will need updates, they deny that the tool is theirs.I had this experience with AUtosvs, so beware friend !

check with seller the coverage before buy diagun. there are more than 2 version diagun, one version cover only 9 marks without adaptor for older cars. i have friend got one of these, very dispointed. be careful!

on all old connectors there is a 15 pin connector which u have to have a cable to connect to the bluetooth devise

its a female female cable 15 pin to 16 pind obd.

I tried to explain to the china company that i need cable to connect and they say its bluetooth not need cable i will give up soon.
i dont know if they dont understand or they just stupid.
i try explain that even for new cars the bluetooth device has to be connected to obd2 connection in car for to work.

With this software you can see the print image in a diagun...
is for ce5. just copy/paste to your sd card.

our favourites ?cutool have started doing one time updates for the Diagun now, so anyone who has missing software or wants new full software and has same serial number can chip in towards the cost of the update, what do you rekon?

Maybe a stupid question but, since obd connector have bluetooth, is it possible to run the diagun from lappy with bluetooth? Im shore we have a big brain around that can make this :)

thanks for that, I came across these guys and gave them a call. I found it strange that they invited me to mark my casings to prove that I had mine back. Are they cloners? I felt uneasy about it.

hi mate its martyn from vdds ltd ,the reason we asked you to put a sticker over one of the screw holes on each part you send into us with a signature on is to prove we have not had it apart and charged you for unnessecery parts ,ie to cover both us and to prove its yours we return .there is nothing underhanded about it whatsoever ,and we use exchange parts direct from launch factory and give full gtee.
also every machine i have ever sold i have gteed updates and delivered 100 percent of the time

I sent you some links by email yesterday. Wasn't good for you?
You said "control panel" I think that's bad. "Control Panel" is a part of "Windows Mobile".
I think that you need to restor Windows Mobile first.
This is just a supposition because I don't have a Diagun.
So don't blame me.
Think about that : I have a Palm Tungsten T5 and I restored its sw PalmOS using On/Off button and UP arrows button in the same time, and it works.
I think there's a similar procedure to restor Windows Mobile.

Tell me what version of windows mobile has Diagun?
You need the an SD card with a program to restor windows and you must to know what button you must use to restor.
If you tell me what version of windows mobile it is maybe I can help you.

I just red this topic and I realized that sellers can make clons of Diagun X431 and sell it with full set. I tried to copy file with Sprinter from 980540180700 backup file but it is not working. Anyone can share with us updates files for X431 Serial Update. I'm thinking about Sprinter, Smart, Euro Ford ang Jag updates files. If of course it will be working with other S / N

@ the factory its about 1800$ but you can make a good negotiation and you'll have a good price.
To give more than 2000 euro for a chinese tool? Never, you can buy Actia multi@diag genuine or Bosch KTS or Delphi Ds100 with this money.
And I think thats all better than Diagun.

Diagun working on windows ce 5.0 but x431 working on linux.
Did you tried to install x431 softwear on a pc using linux?
Or did you tried to install x431 diagun softwear on a pda using windows ce 5.0?
That was the question I think.

:devil:I speak with a person that has the diagun and he says to be but quick that the launch x-431 and that it works well.
To buy the it machine China.
The problems in Spain are: the updates if they find out of the I number of it schemes it they block you the updates, that it is the biggest problem.
For the price in spain are a lot but expensive because they are wanted to make a lot of money but I believe that it is the same one it schemes.

my diagun is in french (multilanguage) but the soft is in english for code default and parameter motors.

Keep pushing the seller for a resolution. They should be able to reprogram serial in your unit to an unbanned one that can receive updates. If they dont make sure to let it be known who they are so others will know to keep away.

This is the "Universal" problem for clones bought from china, sellers promise a lot of updates, even free first one,then after two or three, nothing, even not replying, even denying the tool is theirs (that happened to me with CRAP autosvs).

I got my Diagun a week ago, unfortunately it is with Europe configuration, then doesnt have Ford USA and GM, but I will try to fix that problem later
My question is: what printer can I use and how can I install it in my Diagun?

According to Chinese supplier, it is an HP Laser Printer P-1102.

I've tried with this Printer but still can't print.
It's a usb printer but the option in diagun are irda, lpt1 and network (need network path).

Hay I am a newbie and computer illiterate! Um but looking at getting a Diagun from China - What are the pit falls?
I have a supplier that claims they can provide me the Software for the cars that I wanted - Took them a few days to get back to me etc.
They want me to pay up front and not use ESCROW or any buyers protection etc.
I do not under stand how they can get the software or updates etc? How do I get the updates if I buy a unit? I see many sell one time updates etc but none of it makes sense to me.
What should I do? Maybe just not buy one? Or anyone know a good trader in China?
I am in New Zealand and we need a very wide coverage of car makes etc and I have a list of 45 plus some others just for fun like Thailand Isuzu and Indonesia stuff - are those just a wast of time?
Any good advise would be great! Or if i cant or dont get what I want anypne willing to fix the issue for me for a fair fee? I was qouted about USD$940 Including DHL seems and Ok price.
the lowest I have seen is around USD$700 but I dont think you can choose what you get or maybe even worse.

I don't know why you need other kind of updates if you have an original one.
Activate your account and update for fre one year.
After that you can try other kind of update if you don't like to buy updates for another year.

What version do you have?
There's 3 version
Europe full, Asia full and Europe+Asia full.
All these include American cars.
Dacia it isn't covered on Diagun but it can be, depends of your seller.

Genuine one you can buy it just from authorized dealer:
For Europe you can buy a genuine just from Launch Europe or from his reseller from your country.
I live in Romania and a genuine Diagun cost 2874 ? + VAT (24%) and an year update cost 500?
I think you buy an original from China you could be blocked because there are a lot of clones with your serial.
Think about that
For 300$ less I will buy a clone or a genuine one from my zone authorized dealer if you have a garage. Depends of you.

The upgrades you took it isn't for your machine.
I think you didn't made a bakuop of your CF.
You need the upgrade for your machine, contact your dealer.

Its original from launch, but it should work on copies too, as i know that there is no cracked, for copies they just provide the same files in cd, the files are the same for all diaguns, they dont make a file for each and every s/n of diagun, for them it would be too complicated... but keep in mind that this X431 DIAGUN DISPLAY V 22 44 has to be updated first...

Please back up your diagun before experimenting ....

Hay I have a contact that claims he can update etc - The serial number comes up on the screen when you connect etc - Read it record it etc.
For 1 year update from this guy for any serial number is USD$120 - I plan to clone mine to another number from a guy here in DK - Maybe we should all clone to a same number so we can share the update - Your thoughts guys? If we have many clones with same serial number here at DK we can all update and say if we buy an update we each can share a cost? Is that fair?
Or if you know a genuine unit and that person is willing to share his updates clone your unit to that - To clone mine while I am in China is USD$65 update for a year (2 - 3 updates) is USD$120 and if we share this cost then we all get a good deal?! is that allowed at DK?

these arnt clone units ? these are origonal launch products bought from the factory in china they can buy them to sell unlike here you have to be a distributor ect
but one thing stands as factt
you will have no updates and they will never be recognised by launch
so if ya cant get cracked updates then your stuck with the soft you have it will never time out
if there was a way to do it easilly it would be on here or somewhere on the net

Yes,x431 diagun is hotsale,it has bluetooth,can test two cars at the same time. Small,easy to use.
Price is reasonable also.

check with seller the coverage before buy diagun. there are more than 2 version diagun, one version cover only 9 marks without adaptor for older cars. i have friend got one of these, very dispointed. be careful!

As i know,it has full adaptor in China market now.
I have bought 1,they said they donot offer 9 software now.
Take it easy to use.
And when you buy,you check it first,it will be better.

When u light on diagun,choose "car list", get in any car brand, it will s/n in it. Looking carefully! It has short time to see.

From my understanding it is just software change and change in serial number to a number they can get updates for - Or they simpley change the serial number in the software to suite the serial number in the box.
I have a supplier that I met face t face as I am in China right now and he is doing a good deal on GX3 Mater and works the same as the Master with I think the canbus in the box?? Not to clear on the details but happy to put his name forward to you.
We met over coffee and he took me for a great Chinese dinner in Shenzhen China!
These people are very willing to please - But as I told him the communication is sometime a little hard and I suggested the customer should clearly list what he needs and then the supplier needs to check it and confirm what he can do or say what he cannot do.
also the supplier need to be upfront and honest with what they sale and my supplier is happy to say what is what etc - He tells you it is a clone GX3 to master and thats what you get.
Some will say its a Master but you end up with a GX3 and maybe not what you needed.
I feel happy and confident to recommend him should yoiu want to contact him PM me.

Fist of all Solar didnt ask where to buy updates for his diagun.

If someone wants to pay for a cracked update they can go to the official www.x431.com (http://www.x431.com) website and click on "illegalSalesCompany.jsp (http://illegalSalesCompany.jsp) for a list of companies willing to help for $$$$$$.

And YES there is another way.....If someone has a matching serial number to his units with a newer update. (That was solar's question by the way)

Read the posts by "mdanilo" and HELP him figure out the checksum by sending him file/serial number samples because hes almost there.

You got right you now someone in China who can do that easy for few $$$ but what are you doing here telling to everyone to contact you to tell him the name of the Chinese suppliers is named here advertising and this is out of rules here.
So if you want to tell someone how can contact the supplier you can do it in privat not sharing that.
If you have another solution without money you can share here in the spirit of DK.

You certainlly got right that you spend a lot of money to go in China to upgrade your tool but here we try to think to another way to upgrade our tool. ( I don't need to go in China, I can recive my upgrades by email )
I'm working with same Chinese supplier like you and I don't like when our mates blame him whitout know him but I will never bracke the rules making advertising for him in public even I'm on his site.
That's what we are telling you and if I'm right rp1210a told you this many times. Don't make confusion what help means for our DK mates.

Of course all of us has an chinese seller but most of us after bought our tools don't have any support or any upgrades.
That's the question.
And it is against the rules of this forum to make advertising for one or other seller.
The best seller of Diagun is the Launch companies itself but not the only one.

You nevere find an mulmarks tools wich can do more then brand tool.
So Diagun it is a diagnostic multimarks tool.
Better is to buy a dedicated tool for each brand, but... the prices....
I don't know, that's depend about what you need.

Sometime if you want you can add new brands of cars but the updates meas ner cars models or/and new functions.
Oh well there are fixed bugs somtimes too.

Do you know if Diagun is a good key programmer?
In the manual it says it can program keys for Ford, but no more.
If it's only for Ford keys, it is not very good as keys for Ford are easily programmed with other key programmers.

My friend. Diagun is a diagnostic tool in principal but it can do more then diagnostic.
If you need to do more then that better is to have a dedicated tool for each brand or grup.

If for scanning dashes ecus, it does on many car makes and models (depend on year), you can test illumination, needles working, etc.. but for adjusting Mileage, then NO!!

I know that but Launch said that they developed a softwear for DACIA version 10.01 and my supplier said that he did saw it on the list.
Ok I belived him becasue, belive me or not he gave me his id and password to loggin to launch web site.
I trust him but just I asked if someone who have possibility to check from other area because in his account I haven't seen it.
Ok all softwear that you can download are in chinese language.
Thanks any my friend. I will try becasue I had Carbrain and if I try to connect to DACIA using Renault softwear I couldn't.

Mine Sprinter softwear is 18.10 the last but I asked about this Transporter & V-Calss becasue someone said that is a diffrent softwear. I just want to check becasue i suppose that it is the same with Sprinter.
Well what version of Display do you have?
The last Diagun Display Program is 23.45.
If somebody has this please send me or share it.

Most of Chinese deqalers don't send the upgrades becasue it is not a problem that they don't want to send it for you, they just haven't it becasue the Launch company change the encryptions of S/N and also they shutdown many serials if they hear that that S/N is used in a clone.
So you need to buy an update to someone who can do that.
You can find this if you want googling on internet or....

Opted with an import unit to see what it's worth after I had V30 for a while.Been quoted it is a genuine unit from a Chinese Launch supplier, but you never know. The kit seems to be ok so will wait and see whether I will get any updates or not.

Something it happens to me now.
I asked before if anybody has the last Diagun Display program and my supplier sent it to me for free, because he I know that he read this thread.
I don't want to make advertising for him because you know it is not possible to do that here.
But I know that he will read this thread and I want to thanks to him and i want to say that it is the best supplier and he is my best friend too.

You can buy from whereever you want but you need to be carfull that most of chinese sellers or companies dosen't send you any upgrades or any futhure supports.
So you have to take care from where you proceed to buy.
Me I haven't any problems when I bought and the support it is very good , I cannot complain.
