Has anybody fitted a secondhand cluster to a new shape zafira?

I've got a customer who has fitted a secondhand cluster but now the mileage is showing -------

I've tried changing the mileage via obd, it does change but the speedo still shows ------

Anyway of coding this cluster into the vehicle?

Can this be done with a diag tool or via eeprom dump?
