1,9 tdi rev limit

Hi. i try set rev limit on AJM 1,9 tdi i have 145HP tuned soft.
i set anti lag on 2400 rpm and i set next step on 2450rpm but its dont work like a hard rev
whether the hard limiter should set the same fuel for high speed data to get the effect of popcorn? or other cars have set anti lag on high rpm ? i change injectors on 4000rpm and cut this on 0 degrese but dont work ....

Can use TQ limiters and 10rpm difference to cut.

there is an adress with SVRL( Single Value Rev Limiter) just find it and put the rpm that you want!

There is no limiter for rev, there's an injection limit, this injection limiter will limit your "revs". It's a single value that's near the last map for injection timing, first you've a value of 50 which is the number of "revs" that injection will start, and than it's a value of 4350 if my memory doesn't fail is the value of revs that your injection will stop. Honestly in my opinion there's no need to change this number, unless you've a lot of modifications on the engine, and even so i think there's no need to change it. I'll confirm the values later

search for that in winols "5300 00050 06000"(16bits dec) where "5300" is your "rev" "injection" wherever you want call. and put the value that you want to make the "pop corn" effect. for example if you put "5000" the car will make pop corn at 5000rpm!

one more thing, this effect its nice to hear but expensive to engine. cut injection on diesel its a BIG mistake.

Man in EDC15 can use TQ limiter, and sound will be like you needed ;)

Ok i change TQ limier. aded Axes X 4Krpm and cut 4,2K but is still work like Launch Control... yes now work every gear but is not typical rev limiter becouse when i put pedal gas Launch i have 2,2K rpem and when i start i want revs every every gear .... you tell me i dont do more in edc15 ?

You can't get popcorn limiter on 90/110 engines because it doesn't have the single value injection cut you can however use the torque limiter method for cutting fuel on 90/110 engines don't go lower than a 10rpm gap as these engines use the stop solenoid on pump to create the limiter and to rapid on/off can cause damage or sticking.
