Hello everyone, I've been lurking around for quite somewhile and got some excellent info from here, I've had a 500C for some while running on DW2.0, but I'm after a second box, can anyone recommend were to now obtain a 500 or even a 600 in the uk, any help appreciated, or if there's a HD box available to a novice :)

I dont beleive any seller in uk has stock at this time. There are many chinese sellers who do.

500's aren't made anymore and there are no UK Based sellers, unless you want an Eagle box or a BlackBox - both are clones

As for the 600, this IS still made and can be bought in the UK from the official UK Supplier for Dream Box : SMS The Dreamboxshop official distributors of Dream- multimedia satellite receivers. (http://www.dreamboxshop.co.uk/) however, you will pay more for it. There are also dm600 clones out there

Would reccomend buying your box from linuxsat, what a brilliant service he runs.

Thanks for your replys, remembering now, SMS is where I bought mine from, if I go for the 600PVR is it similar to the 500 with regard to flashing and if so what image do you recommend, your help appreciated

Flashing is similar regardless of the box being model 500 or 600, 600 has more capabilities ie. recording

Hi buckoff, try DVB Seller, they are out of China,they shipped to ireland within 7 days, I have bought about 10 in the past 2 months and have no issues so far, the also have various range of dreamboxes.
