As per title

Got a SkyBox F3S where it loads up to L100 and then starst again so in a boot loop

I have used a standard null modem cable and managed to flash various firmwares but none work and still get same problem

is the box destined for the dustbin

Are you ticking boot loader when you load the firmware ?
into the flasher

take a look at your sat cable going into the box I had that once restarting after 100 turns out it was the braiding shorting out on the connector rescrewed it back on and its still working now

if you try to load the file i put in the link above.....Genuine box..........If you had a clone it would say file mismatch.

Sounds like a dead box buddy.......Just before you bin it........

I have to ask lol ;)...........when you have loaded the firmware & ticked the bootloader......then click next
It loads the file ready for flashing..........Please tell me you burnt the file to the box ...takes 10 mins to do...

I have known peeps load the firmware into the software.......I.e STB .......DONE & think this is it,box flashed lol

Don't think so in this case but as i say had to ask

Correct but i don't think this will be the fix for this box

If you have a spare Power supply from something else that uses the same connector @ 12v, with at least a 2A rating & with a +ve centre pin, you could try that.

These PSU's sometimes start playing up before they fail completely.

Hi jfish wer you able to get you f3s sorted if not I have repaired three of these boxes and it was caused by leaking caps on power supply board
