Hello mates,:)

I need to delete catalytic converters in this car and I need to delete all DTC that connected with it. This car will have custom exhaust and used on track. Also would be great to add some power.

File 341967

Car has manual gearbox
341971

Found some information but have no experience to make it

I have found in the below lines what I believe to be the coding for them:

0x63A6 to 0x63B3 B2 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 2F 33 28 25 FF
0x63B4 to 0x63CF B3 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 30 34 28 25 FF

If I use the first method and suppress the DTC’s, I just need to change these to the following:

0x63A6 to 0x63B3 B2 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 2F 33 28 00 FF
0x63B4 to 0x63CF B3 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 30 34 28 00 FF

Also would be better to 'zero out' the complete hex string, because lambda sensors will be removed.
Can anyone confirm is this correct solution?

This conclusion is wrong ... rather no one wants to help you, or one that will help you, not yet seen the topic.
Patience, my friend!

Maybe you must to have a FULL read, not partial, like yours... :listen:

Your read file seems to be corrupt, or your car is a facelift model, and you have dumped only 1 eeprom (the wrong one).

Hm, so to read correct one I have to BDM connect?

You can do it via obd2

I have galletto v54 but it doesn't read it. Only mpps made this read and that's all.

I think you have an MSS54HP ecu, which should read as 64kb, your dump is only 32kb.

I tried to read full dump with mppsV13.02 and galletto v54, galletto v1260 and always the same file 32kb.

A full dump would be either 512kb or 1.00mb depending on which ecu you have.

But to do what you want, you only need a partial dump.

In galletto 1260, select M3 E46 CSL SIEMENS MSSSS 54 2/29F400BB and do a partial read.

If you are still having problems.

Use this with your Galletto 1260 cable.

Car is 252kw/342 h.p As I see M3 E46 CSL SIEMENS MSSSS 54 2/29F400BB is 370 h.p. Is it ok? Or maybe I have another ECU?

It is ok to use, the M3 uses an Mss54 ecu on pre-facelift models and on facelift it is an Mss54HP ecu, the main difference being an mss54 is using 29F200 eeproms and the HP version is 29F400 (twice the memory). The M3 CSL uses a slightly modified version of the MSS4HP ecu, so using that CSL option in Galletto is ok.

Okay, I've got it! Thanks for advice. I will try tomorrow and report.

What did you modify, as you have not touched the 02 sensors.

Can you post the original "unmodified" file please.

Ok so you edited the DTC for the Secondary Air Pump and it looks like you have tried to change either the rev limiter or top speed limiter too (but you have not done it correctly).

What modifications do you want ?

I want to delete all catalytic converters and all sensors in them that can have DTC. Car will have sport exhaust without catalytic converters. It would be great to add some power too, because mostly car will be used on track for drifts and racing.

Here you go, all DTC's to with rear 02 sensors are disabled, you can now remove the 2 rear 02 sensors (and the catalytic converters), but the front 02 sensors must remain fitted (these are fitted infront of the catalytic converter anyway).

Yes the original file you sent is standard, I have only made changes for rear 02 sensors to be deleted.
