Advice needed folks - I do not have fast broadband, it is not completed in my area yet, my existing broadband is able to show Netflix.
Will I be able to use my Openbox to it's full potential - I read about Lan connection being better and thingy differences, turning off DHCP and using my own IP.
What do you experts advise please? :hmmmm2:

Just to add to P&D's excellent post, LAN is a physical wired connection between your router and openbox which is better than wireless as the boxes' wireless dongle (bought separate) can be troublesome.
DHCP should be set to 'on' as default in both your router and openbox and for the majority of people causes no problems.
IP address is set by your router and for normal day use it doesn't matter whether it's static or dynamic addressing.
