ok this is how to get it working

start game and let it freeze as normal

copy attached file to SD card

restart Wii go into Data Management and copy saved game from SD card to Wii memory

restart game and select the first profile

copy the private folder from the RAR file to the root of the SD card - it may say folder already exist, overwrite, just say yes.

yes you play start game, let it crash, restart Wii copy saved file from sd card to Wii start game, and a new profile will appear, which you use to play the game

Could successfully hack wii 4.1u with neogamma r7 and play all the titles with me (24) except this one. I too have this same problem and find it rather fustration as my game is played from a harddrive with usb loader would this solution help me

easiest way i got this game to play was to load the game using ios223.then you have no problem creating profiles.i went ahead and created all 3 profiles.but i found that the game froze at times during the tutorials and even at loading.so after creating profiles with ios223 switched back to ios249 and have had no problems at all playing the game for the last month.

i was able to download the file. i extracted the rar file and copied all the folders to the sd card. but when i got to data management i dont see any file to copy to the wii

Starting it with wiigator, (although it is a bought and paid for PAL game - I'm in a NTSC area) I do not see the option.

I'm obviously missing something or missed a post.

I canr get it to work with 223 either. Im using the latest version from the 5.1 installer. Which version are you using and with which base?

download and extract the file onto the root of your sd card then follow rest of instructions.

Well I now have Ashes Cricket 2009 - PAL - R6KP36 I downloaded the cracked save game just in case it locked up.

I start it up and make a new profile and I can play cricket without using the saved game crack so I don't know what all you other guys are doing wrong?

Well you obviously have read page 1 have you #14. There is another Ashes 09 thread if you search or browse. http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f16/ashes-game-fix-file-104737/ its probably the same fix from jfish.

As I've said my Ashes 09 works without a save game fix.

Well the download in #2 isn't available as it says at the bottom, it says look further down. I've just downloaded the one in #14 and that downloads and opens ok. If you've read all replies in this thread #45 shows it in the download section.
