This vehicle only has three wires to obd port.

Hie car does not need sync your main culprit is key antena and amplifier. using LED check for pulse on the two wires comming from the immo box to ecu. if no pulse on both wires replace immo box. NO SYNC NEEDED

The ecu dump is the one in 89661-3D850. This car is from South Africa.

is that the engine ecu dump , what eprom u have ?

the two dump look the same .

hie dont think its to do with here in botswana i have fixed more than 30 of those. why program key in the first place. these south african hilux you jst swap ecu no sync needed. and if your car has a big 3 plug ecu then make sure it has a blue immo box but if the ecu is the smaller one that immo bo9x should be black. ALSO PLIZ GIVE A BIT OF HISTORY OF THE CAR

I suggest enter the scanner and read DTC Immo and engine ECU. maybe the problem is elsewhere and blame the immo is made.

i agree with you Achaccha but many people dont know that this car has 2 diagnostic ports. one in bonet nd one under the steering to the left. the one in bonet does not communicate on SA cars , so you use the one under steering

hi what colour is your immo ecu blue or black
if blue it use a 4c key
black use a 4d key
also the immo reader amplifier is common to be faulty on these one

I have tried diagnostics on both ports 16pin and 22pin no communication. I have tried another key amplifer as well as ECU immobilizer module still starts and dies off.

Its a black box and i am using 4d67 tried two chips. The LED light flashes on the one wire with ignition on and on the other it comes on for a second and goes off.

disconnect immo ecu and try starting if it starts and dies with immo box disconected then you know its a programming but if it doesnt start or behaves differently then you have another problem. also after engine dies keep holding key on start position and check the spark. another tip is if it programing related the car should start and die on two consecutive attempts but on the third attempt it wont start at all it will need you to disconnect battery and start. but begginning to sense pump or ecu fault
