Hello everybody

I need some help please

I worked on Seat ibiza 1.6 tdi 90cv PCR 2.1 03L 906 023 LC CAYB motor
Ecu patched with trasdata. But after unlock the car don't start. No answer to diagnostic vcds.
Tryed to put it back to ori file but same problem.

I checked every fuse on the car, Tryed to clean the pin, checked ecu pcb to see if there was a problem a the opening but nothing.
I am able to read and patch it again with trasdata but same problem.

If there a solution to check if Ecu is dead ?
AND is there a solution to duplicate/clone PCR 2.1 with a used one ?

I'm blocked with the customers cars.. any help will be welcome

Thanks to all

Yes possible, but now I don't know how can I fix this.
Find a used one its not a problem, but how to clone the old one ?

There is two possibilitty: one to take another ecu with same HW Number and you need just to putt it on the car (don't need to open and read) and go to official VAG workshop, they are able to pair the donnor used ecu with car and other modules via online VAS.
And the other option is to make immo off on used one or try to pair with car like in Edc17_componect protection key PIN/CS/MAC

Did you start car after opening ECU? Immo of is not possible. Cheapest solution for you is to buy a second hand ECU same like yours and go to VAG Dealer. Other options are Abritus, adapt Instrument Cluster to used ECU and make new key

Hi guys

Yes As I know immo off it's impossible on PCR.

No I don't tried to start the car after opening.

Will call vag shop tomorrow, but I think they will refuse.
Add already call, for used cluster adaptation..

Concerning abritus, need to be online ?
For magpro X17, I see on the web that is possible to clone pcr with, anybody have informations about that ?

Abritus needs to be on-line as far as know. MMS will cost you around 300€

No need new keys.
Just program ecu to car.

No I don't have Avdi..

Here ori file from eeprom (first read)
If immo data are stored in eeprom why if I desolder the old one and solder to used one that will not work ?

And if I write eeprom from old one to new one that will not work to ?

Not work i try befor.must be something in MCU.
Even if you swap eep.unlocked it will show as ecu locked.
Only way is adopt ecu with pin and cs.i do this with avdi.
Any othere way you wasting your time.
Get some one with avdi or go to dealer

Ok will try to go to dealer and make adaptation of used ecu.
Can I unlock ecu before or make unlock after adaptation ?
Because I have to do a dpf and egr off and then remap on this car

I can work in other way:
- Repair your ecu to work condition (replace broken elements + MCU)
- Make fully working not adopted clean ECU.

And then you should adopt it, there is many way and mate say you possible way.
If you have ODIS can make it online, can help with that too.

I found the same Ecu, will have it soon
Concerning adaptation I have Odis but I can't find how to have online connection.
I'm going to speak with VW dealer today, to see if they can adapt used ecu.
If they can, I 'm going to do it by this way with used ecu.
If they don't accept, I will need your help.

No prob. Access to ODIS online only with authorized account but you can get one time entry :-)
No needed have licenced VAS.

Ok I never used Odis , A friend have it but I know that is clone tool.
If my understanding is correct I can use it with a one time entry and adapt used ecu myself ?

At first can try factry restore without any account but must have connection with ecu,
Next way is online adoption, for it needed have friend and give them some good words to able using they authorised account in VAG.

Problem solved :
- Ecu replaced by used one
- Unlocked
- Adaptation by vag dealers
- Rest of the job done..

Thanks all for your help..

But still don't know what was the problem on the previous ecu or where was my mistake.
