will the immo light go out when ignition turned on or do i have to start the vehicle? asking because the car has now developed a starter motor fault so i cannot crank the engine only turn the ignition on at the moment but the immo light (car with key in it) is flashing

Immo lights are flashing, because the meter does not recognize the key. Auto must start. Open tacho and cover it tapes light.
