The original DME was water damaged. It still comunicates over K Line and starts the car but has various other issues.
I tried to read it over BDM port and transfer all the content to donor DME . the BDM connection does not work on the original control unit.
At this point I need to read everything over K Bus ,fix the BDM port or find virgin dump.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Anybody is got any BDM port diagrams on this type of Bosch Unit?

Picture of the original DME attached.
The donor DME is exactly the same . The Bosh part and BMW part numbers are identical

I could not write the file as "Write All" function . There is some fault about file dimension. So when I try to write the External Flash only S29CD016GB Galletto popes a massage saying that computed Checksum and if it should apply that before writing. Current Checksum in the file is D9C4
I assumed the Checksum is already Ok and I don't have to correct anything. Proceeded as Write External Flash without any corrections
Programming went well.
There is also Internal Flash Micro which I did not touch
Bram Do all My steps look right or should I do some corrections ?

That is what I did. The DME boots fine. Did You correct My Bin to erase the ISN ? The DME does not appear to be virgin new. It's already coded . I will put it to the car next week and report back

You can reset ecu to delete all coding. Use NCSExpert.
