Hello ! For about a year i was doing remaps using MPPS V13 (China). I feel like i need more serious tool to work with. Im thinking to get Kess v2 Clone now, i found so much confusion about this tool when i started looking into it, i dont really know what should i buy, whats worth having, i need someone to help me out with this question. Budget maybe about 100-150 euros...

For that's budget you will not able buy working device. Cheap clone will make less than your china mpps. Really !
And much more possibility to brick ecu. MPPS13 much more stable.

Only reworked, or EU version.

BUT BEST - ORGINAL !!!

If you made remaps , the best it is original because if you brick some edc17 or pcr 1.2 you waste more than 600?

Doens't matter what tools you use, you can brick ecu with the most expensive tool on market if you don't pay attention

edc17...pcr 1.2...mpps v13...ufff...mate...about what we talking here?
the guy started with sommes edc15 and edc16 using mpps...like all of us....now...kess (even china good clone)...more stable than mpps on can-line and good job on recovery...mpps good job on k-line (sometimes and can-line)...fgtech (i hate this tool)-but sometimes save your as...and best ktag-trasdata-no obd but safe boot mode, pinout direct conection and bdm...i talk about low price tools

Well thing is, i dont have big budget for tool, and i dont have much work to do also with cars, like up to 10 carsp per month for now. 2009+ customer is VERY rare, more likely to get older than 2000 customer. 80% requests are 2000-2008 year. bdm/jtag mostly needed for recovery if obd write fails i guess. For now i should maybe aim in OBD Read and write and BDM only if i must.

I have all of the clones on the market and I prefer MPPS 13 or Kess V2 (EU clone). Kess works every single time i need it and if you wish you can rework it to "almost" full working solution. Galletto bricked an MS41 ECU and i never use it unless really necessary!
