Hello Optican User,

since a few days Optican (OBD Tuning) has releasd V6.0 update ! Mr. Meyer send me a email that the old Server will be closed next week !

That means that all user with no aktive year update lizenz can not use the device in future !

so all optican devices are useless if you not pay for the new software !

i know optican is not the best tool on the market but this is not ok from this factory !

they cheat there customers !

i want only inform all members here that uses optican some time !

i think selling the device is not possible anymore for a good price !

they dont have new device but a newer Software Update release beta version and for that you musst pay !

next week flasher and debugger will not work ! that was what they said to me !

I also have an optican and I was pretty aggravated when I heard about this because I bought my optican off Mr Meyer himself, and he promised me that his tool would run forever even if I did not get a update subscription I could still use what I already got.
I even remember in the licensing it said "Forever" in the date column but all that has been removed now.....

Sent him a email clearly stating my disappointment over this issue in december and I still have not seen a response

i bought 2012 1 year update lizens and now this !

im still angry about that and mr. meyer !

my debugger and flasher lizens was time unlimited !
