Why you have limp mod and what dtc you have after you have not 0403 ?

Egr is mechanical close. Dont power because edc is limp mode...

never seen one that had no power and no dtc.mayb some one remove some codes befor him.
i would try to read this by obd (virtual)and flash ecu with that file or update ecu.

Like any other story ....but where are the thru ? are so hard to write back original file and after short test drive will store some dtc,dont matter if are "intermitent" or "permanent"
Dont matter also if dpf are empty,will go in limp mode after 20km !

him dtc are untouched( they are orig). He does not want to tell the story of the car and how some of us will help him. We aren't sorcerers.None of us can see the car has mechanical problem without to heard the motor of the car.

few days ago i work with the same engine 2.0 vag.
There be same problem car have egr fault and time after time show 0299 dtc and car work not so good!
But 0299 not be active all time but only some time and when she be active car be very slow and give up only around 2300RPM.

And how you can explain this moment all mod files not work?
I do lot same cars and all work perfect with unplug conector from EGR, but now one car not work.
I think boost problem or ecu is damage.

For test take used egr(working) and put in car for check if all good we can continue try fix your problem.
If car still how you say in LIMP need search other problem why she not good work.

listen to me,superman:) read this ecu by OBD and post file here,i will do you a 100%file, if it will not work egr is not the only problem.

How you damage ecu?

I think the reason is different. Soldering points damaged. Too much heat can destroy vias in this ecu. Without proper contact in this vias the ecu seems dead. PCB is multilayer so i think bye bye.
