View Full Version : Can I "Borrow" clear file from other Modules?

Hello, I was trying to remove an eeeprom from module, but broke legs before I could read it. So I don't have a crash dump file.

I found a CLEAR file from the Internet, for the same module 77960-SHJ-C022-M1. But I don't know if it has VIN specific info. Do you guys think it would be ok to "borrow" file? Or do I have to calculate from the original crash file, which I don't have?

all depends on what vehicle I guess, some are fussy and some are not..

Look like You working on 06&up Odyssey. Those don't keep WIN in the SRS unit. Any module with same # can be used (or data), but OPDS (OPS) need to be calibrated. Hope that helped.
