Hi.
I am using carprog clone and A10 cable connected as describe in carprog 2j74y repair function but every time I try read or repair it says" MCU not detected" . What it might be the reason?

check your cable and correct the wires common issue with clones very poor cable constructions , also when you are reading MCU are you using external power???????

already checked the cables connections in A10 looks like its OK , I am using external power 12V, even try a new hc908az60 without success

I bought new carprog clone from another seller and this one seems to be working but when i use function "repair" on a new 2j74y it show error "erase failed" and stop.

I lift tx and rx pins and it works ,flash written ok but still cant write eeprom, "repair 2j74y" only write flash nothing is changed in eeprom. Is this a problem with security bytes or MCU itself? what security bytes I need for new MCU ?

Hello, i am trying to repair with carprog a audi a4 dashboard and have same problem, "erase failed" i am using a new 2j74y from new local shop, then i doubt if is carprog problem or new delaer quality. with original mcu i can read and erease without problems eep and flash. 2J74Y mask
