Hi,
Im .Aj from India,, Kind of Kid to work on ECM how ever im giving it a tryhttp://www.opelgt.com/forums/images/smilies/lmao.gif

So now my issue is i hold a Opel Vectra and there was a ECM issue due to which i wasnt able to run my car. After a Gaurage Operationhttp://www.opelgt.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif ther ECM was replace by used one from UK ...How ever the Gaurage person did not give me any security code and its lost now.

I googled for many options and finally found that reading the EPROM can solve this issue.

So I have opened my ECM and PICS are as below..

I dont even know what is the ECM and a EPROM.. But bought a EPROM reader and set everything ready and i really wanna learn how to do this..

Please guide me with kinder garden style teaching to do this.. please help me347830347831347832347833347834

Write here every numbers from ECU's cover. Maybe it is ECM which you can read via cable connector

This is Opel Trionic 8
And this has diffrent bootloader as Saab Trionic 8
If you find any tool that can read Opel Trionic 8 over canbus then you can clone it exactly as Saab Trionic 8 (it's a good tread about that here on DK)

Or other way is to order pin to used ecu from opel workshop
Then you need pon from your car from opel.

Then devorce CIM and then devorce broken ECU.
Mount used ecu and marry ecu im your car, then marry cim in your car.
