So my old sky+ had 2 leads into the back I now use one into the open box can I extend the other lead into another room to work another box or is it a job on the roof to fix another lead or is there more to it

The twin cable will split. Just split it and pull one of them back through the wall then redirect it to the other room. Extending will do the same.

Mmmm Seems there is no feed from one of the leads tried it in 2 boxes no signal,, thought I would ask before I did a rod hull and got the ladders out or anyone got another idea

Disconnect the lead to the open box then try it again......sometimes when you connect 2 boxes
to one LNB one box gets a full signal the other gets no signal
So the one with the good feed disconnect the box & try on the other feed (cable)

No the other feed has nothing even if I just put one feed into one box and swap them around ,, seems strange as the sky plus box worked fine of both the feeds before I removed that box

Plug the official Sky+ box back in and goto the services section in the menu and check the signal bar for both tuners giving a reading
