I'm new to this forum and I've encountered this problem for the first time. What is the procedure here? Car is in no start condition at the moment, steering column was changed somwhere else 6 months ago.

What yesr and model is it? If a column was changed a while ago, probably installed without any coding or programming. install run and hope for the best. Which is the wrong way to do it, correct way is recover original unit, flash and adapt. Your only option is remove column, read 24lc16, post here for support.
