Dream up does not work

Hi,

I am trying to use dream up to conetc to my DM500s.

I can connect and get the uploading flash loader message and then a message that says upload completed, Waiting for acknowledge... nothing else happens.

What am iI doing wrong ?

firstly your posting a dreambox question in the general chat section.. there is a dedicated Satellite Dreambox section which would have been better to post in.. i'll see if a mod will move it there..

where did you get your box from, what version of DreamUp are you using, what image are you trying to flash, have you unzipped it with a program like winrar or are you trying to flash the zipped image..??

Hi Thank you for your help. It seems that it was my virus cheker/firewall that was stopping the access.

Sorted now.
