Audi A4 RB4 DEF repair

Hi, my friend has a Audi A4 RB4 dashboard with reference: 8E0920930T with DEF error.

The car starts and run fine.

He has these tools:
-vcds
-avdi
-vageepromprogrammer

Can he fix this dashboard with these tools? Any hints on what functions to use?

Any help is appreciated.

if he has dash function in avdi there is a button just for that :)

I asked him now, he said he tried but after that instead of DEF he got SAFE in dashboard.

Exactly, just learn all keys now and adapt dash and all will be fine

Thanks both of you, I went on teamviewer on his pc, I also read somewhere that mileage needs to be below 50 or 60 to adapt the dash, so I set 10kms before anything else.
"def repair", adapt in channel 50 with login code and then 21 for keys as usual like you guys said. :)
