Hello everybody. I'm looking for a Delphi dcm3.4 expert, cause I'm desperate.

I write this thread after spending a long time trying to remap my car: Peugeot 2.0 HDI 140cv ECU: Delphi dcm3.4, while the performance is still the same as stock.

I have tested lots of versions, I have spent hundreds hours on WinOls looking for a missing map, but I'm not able to find any limit map.
I think this situation has something to do with turbo pressure: Now at full throttle the turbo pressure (absolute) is: 2150mbars (peak) 2000mbar continuous (like stock).

I want to get more boost pressure but I'm not able to do it.

I have modified:
-Iq to NM (x3 maps)
-Torque map (x2 maps)
-Torque limiter (x1 map)
-Plausibility maf (x1 map)
-Smoke limiter (x1 map)
-Driver wish (x5 maps)
-Boost pressure (x5maps)
-Common rail demand (x2 maps)
Rail pressure limit (x4 maps)

This is the Stock file: 353210
This is the last remap file I tryed:353209

Thanks in advance! Regards

That's look bad, even without touching limiter your boost should be grow, even from fuel should get some more seeing in parameters.

I think there is technical problem because stock boost 2350mbar not 2000, impossible low at 2.0 Engine ! :-)

Maybe something more touched like DPF and LIMP mode ?

I will help with file later.

quick look ,
@C8742 atmo boost limit
@ C5436 Sv Tq limit
But as previosly said this engines do suffer from mechanical issues . you shold log it stock and i bet it isn't boosting properly. look for air leakage and worn seals in air inlet.

write your mod file, read it and do compare. I think your tool dont write it.

Hello! You help is greatly appreciated!
Are you sure about that the real boost must be 2350mbars?
I have understood that this ecu works diferent than Bosch.
I have understood that 2350mbars is the theoretical pressure, but this value isn't real, because after the ecu subtract lots of corrections.

Yes, it's look bad, because always I have the same boost: 2150mbar aprox. (peak), 2000mbar (continuous).
I have tryied many times, with differents remaps. Sometimes I get a little power increase but the boost continuous like stock.
(With the last remap, the car runs as stock)

The DPF in my opinion is fine. No dtc on diagnosis or dashboard. The car runs very well (like other car of 140hp). Great acceleration and the same top speed that declared the manufacturer.

Thanks! Regards!

Hello!
@C8742 atmo boost limit,
@C8742 adress is: 1331. Applying offset (0,977) is: 1300mbar.
It's okey? Is it a Sv relative pressure? I haven?t found this Sv on damos.
@ C5436 adress is: 4800. Applying offset (0,0625) is: 300NM
This is right? The torque limiter maps (20x44 and 16x1) go up to 340NM.

Thank for your help! Regards!

Hello! Thank for your help!
I tryied reading the ecu, and the file was right.

For me like i say don't look for limiters, yes ecu works different than Bosch but basic working is that's same. For me there is technical problem.
Even limiters always give you some free alowed boost like +100/150mbar sometime more.

@C8742 8x16 map not SV

Hello! First of all, thanks for your help.
If the problem persists, I will look for air leakage!

@C8742 8x16 map not SV

Hello! Thanks for the information!
I have found this 8x16 map!
Is it an Atmospheric limit map?
It's very strange, because if this map is working, the turbo only will boost 2300mbar when there are 975mbar atmospheric pressure.
However, at 900mbar of atmospheric pressure, the boost will be 2000mbar.

Here, there are usually around 900mbar atmo pressure.

I will try and report!

Thanks for the help! Regards!

Another question: @ C5436 Is any limiter?

Hello everybody! I update the post.
I continue desperate looking for some missing maps. (SVBL?)

Now, with the last file I tried, the boost peak is: 2200mbar (absolute), but it drops to 2050mbar.
I want to get more boost pressure but I'm not able to do it.
The car runs similar stock (a little bit more). Engine is ok, and the tool read/write ok.

This is the last remap: 389707

Thanks in advance! Regards

Hi !
You need to touch more maps if you want more power in this car. In attachments you have full mappack, use it.
And tuning need to be more agressive. you set torque to 420 Nm and conversion maps ends to 400 Nm?? This is not right !!
You miss many limiters, use my mappack and you will see..
Enjoy !!

would you say something more about this modifications? such as power, torque, limiters etc. its quite important to know before i'll try this one in my car :D
