Opel ecu virgin and reprogram.

Will a Clone carprog work on this ecu, i dont do this regular so dont want to waste to much on this.

And what opcom version Will be good for programming this ecu,s.
I have 2010 version but programming button is always Grey.

I talk about ecu like simtec, delco, old stuff (2000 and Up).

ecu reset is in special functions in the selected ecu section, for programing ecu to car you go into immo selection then theres a drop down box that asks for ecu to be installed or ecu and bcm, then you just press do it!
Theres loads of PDFs on the net for opcom, and yes carprog works on quite afew of the earlier ecus

Well my opcom always gives gray boxes not able to use those.
I think its my sw, i can not program keys to a 2000 astra/zafira also grey box.

Last question, is it possible to reset ecu in the car or does it needs to on bench.

I have the old vvdi which work's only for vag, and the fvdi has different brand and also all in one,it has fvdi opel,fvdi vag,fvdi nissan e.t.c
for the new vvdi i don't know

You can do it also with Opcom and Carprog.For soft use fgt.

ive only ever reset with carprog on bench friend and yes its the ones listed in the pdfs that it works on, i dont think its ever let me down on resetting them that it lists,
fvdi also can reset in car etc..and read pin, not tried all ecus for opel/vaux but have done corsa c and d and all read pin/reset, and zafira A,also astra j and insignia

but wouldnt connect to instrument on corsa c
