WRITE NEW FILE AND CAR DOT START ,,BACK ORG TOU ECU NOT START.. I THINK THE PROBLEM IS BED ..REDA EPROM

How did you read oryginal tool and what kind of tool did you use to read this?

Yes it's problematic ecu. Recommend batch work only. In most case not hard to get out and much safier.

Faul code nating ecu ...everting ok ...immobilizator not error , dsg not error.-dash error not comunication ecu, sterling not comunication ecu... this 2 error

I had similar problem. Galletto give me virtual read file, and it was incorrect file. I had to find correct file put the the correct OTP and car was started.

Must find seme files end tray ... can i a put news files in edc 17 not have problem to block ecu ..

Yes, the posible problem is the file, post Flash ECU dump by BDM and ECU Number.
I'm on vacation now, back next week if nobody can help here , when I coming back can fix your file .

Allways is better to disassembly this EDC17 and read/write over boot mode on bench. With GOOD heating read/write need no more then 15 min, but totaly without stress!

I have a 2010 golf Tdi with the same problem (edc17cp14) need to clone to remplase it i try boot mode on galletto 4, it reads ok but error on writing, then i try ktag it reads ok but you need to "patch" the file before writing so i did it and write fine.... but the computer dont comunicate with the odb2 and engine dont start, but no immo ligth on the dash.... i am about to give up .... help!!!!

this is how to repair

ECU VAG EDC17CP04/14 blocked writing MOD by OBD (so called EEPROM crash)
caused by: ECU remain in programming mode.
1. Read IROM / XROM and EEPROM in bootloader mode.
2. Fix IROM/XROM using bootloader readout and OBD ORI readout (you will probably need to paste part of map zone and chk/RSA zone)
3. Write fixed IROM/XROM by bootloader (do not touch EEPROM!)
4. connect ECU to the car and write repaired IROM/XROM (same used for bootloader) by OBD.
It will automaticaly fix eeprom problem.

You mean for tune it? I just need to clone, the ecu is damage and need to be remplase.
