This is not true. You also have the possibility to read H8SX using CPT, but connection is different...

No, no external +12V needed!
CPT-2 = Vpp.

You can read this module with ETL SMOKE RENEPROG .

Elcochy read files eeprom and flash in bin format from module will clear for you . CPT read in bin format ? I have SMOKE it read in bin.
