try a factory reset
then do a manual scan set down frequency to 000.000mhz the enable network scan
if that fails you may need a booster

it does not let me put in freq 000.000. i was thinking about a booster, how do u fit it in?and does it make any difference if i already have a splitter?

try putting the missing freq into manual scan
yes a booster will/can make difference
it could also be a attenuator thats needed on one of your lines do you have a xtra little silver coupling at the end of the coax check router aswell

yeah i been trying the manual scan but no signal.while i been going through the channel list it is all the channels from 0 to around the 400.000mhz that dont work, above that all work.there is a silver connector conected to the cable which twists on and goes into to the back of the box.this has been doing my head in as it works in one room but not in the other room.

Dear singh1234
I know you are trying to sort your problem out but this is the 3rd thread you have started asking the sane question. If you stick to one thread then we can get a better picture of what we have asked you to try previously and the members will not be repeating themselves.

yeah when scanning from main feed every channel works, but when i take the box back in the other room it has no signal.when doing a auto scan it does not pick up the channel frequencues from around 0 - 350000 mhz.so really i am missing around 80 channels

The only thing it can be is the cable or connections running to the second room.
I would check them all. Also the splitter. There are some inexpensive splitters that don't work well with cable.
