does anybody know where to retrieve security pins on these two model vw golf plus 1.4 petrol 2007 model and skoda fabia 1.2 2008 tried with different tools and could not retrieve on both models and what type of dashboard do they have tried every type of pin reader fail.

And what tools did You use? Maybe its Johnson Controls dash or Magnetti Marelli...

golf --- read pin vvdi fvdi avdi zedfull --i think dash its visteon

buy some decent tools then you will do these jobs. Using cheap toys what do you expect.

i used super vag 1/2/3 i also used vag tacho vag commander none of these tools are toys cant afford the avdi or supervag at the moment or smoke or zedfull .

as has been said , original supervag , avdi , zedfull , ad100 pro or mvp pro , smok , vvdi , all will pull these for you and code the keys and vvdi 1 probably costs less than some of the tools you have bought already

from 3 digit engine code you can confirm which ecu you are dealing with .

as has been said , until you invest in decent tools or become confident with eeprom you are going to experience such failures , eeprom would allow you to retrieve the pin and then use the tools you have to code the key .

If you can not afford for good tool, Then you need to pass job to someone else.

as has been said your options are ;

1) buy better equipment that can do the jobs you are attempting
2) eeprom and read the dump to retrieve the pin code then code in with the kit you have
3) eeprom and read dump and post dump here and someone may help you by retrieving pins for you
4) pass the job on to someone else who has the equipment or the skill set to do the job

how many tokens does the ad 100 or mvp takes to retrieve pin on vw vehicles thank you might be worth getting one one pay as you go.

mvp pro doesnt use tokens for the majority of pin code reading , some it does most it doesnt.

AD100 pro takes no tokens as not a pay as you go unit , you buy the software outright on this one.

mvp pro has a wide vehicle coverage cheaply but is pay as you go where as a fully loaded AD100 pro would cost you ?15k , pay as you go is cheaper to initially buy , but token costs can be a killer , though you can buy into an unlimited use package
