why you dont use latest calibration file to update ecu ? like 9971 also you can do it on the bench !

I want to compare the original 8831 file with the modified one I found on a car. This car had a great damage and I suppose it has been caused by wrong chiptuning.

Yes of course,just save eep and flash contempt,update ecu with new calibration file and than you can check if all working good !
After that you can downgrade ecu to sw8831,first of all you have to write old eep and after the flash contept !

It would be easier to find the 8831 original flash file so that I don't need to open and boot the ecu
