just a new dm500c flashed it, get all the channels, the prob is that when i change channels the box goes dead but with the green light still on, so have to un plug it to get it working again any ideas

what image are you using? you say it goes dead, does it freeze and not change channel?

d.k.1 yes boxs goes dead , its conected via scart and tv changes channel when box goes down

could be a bad flash try relfashing it
