Happy Ramadan to all Muslim Members.

As I am sure there are plenty of Muslim Members with us on Digital Koas, I would like to wish them all a good & happy Ramadan which to those that do not know is an Islamic religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar & is celebrated by fasting and other observances ...

I am not Muslim myself but as some of you would wish Happy Christmas & Easter onto us I think it only fitting to do like wise ....

Regards:
Alun

Wahey!
Cheers Alun, Im sure there are alot of members who are muslim here. I am one btw lol.
As the years go on it gets harder and this year we're facing 17hours of no food for the lot and later on in the month it should go down to about 16 hours 10 mins maybe. lol

thanks DK

first few are difficult but when the body adjusts its not too bad as long you have been fasting 1 months in a year for the last decade or two or longer...

at the moment sehri(when you should stop eating) is around 04:15am and iftar(breaking the fast)is around 20:20ish
these times change daily as the sunrise & sunset times and depending on location etc
