Error with edc17cp18 ktag 2.10

Hello all,
This is the first edc17cp18 we are trying. We keep getting error : " Access violation at address 0054498db in module 'ksuite.exe'. read of address 00000018." Hopefully someone here can help me to get this to work.

We followed the connection instructions per the software but we keep getting that error while trying to do a back up.

What do I need to change to update? Just software or do I need update hardware as well?

You need to more thsn soft and lot other thinks if you want trusted tool .

you need to update firmware ...not software...also,maybe to rework your pcb

Can I flash new firmware(software) on my current hardware? Or do I need to install new hardware on the board as well?

M8, playing with chinese tool in that new ecu may be very dangerous, will kill the ecu.
Only genuine tools can deal with safety.
ktag ori works fine in that.

you can reflash your 5.001 pcb with the 6.070 firmware and use trasdata software...will work....or,you can buy original tool...is your choise

i saw many ecu fucxed also with original tools:stung:...depends how you know to use a tool...

We use romraider a lot! We also reset airbags(carprog) and use nefmoto for audi's. Most of our tuning is on subarus. One of our guys has a 450whp impreza. But this our first time trying to use this KTag

mmm...long time ago i posted for free thoses solutions...but now...i think that too much gents taked for free and nothing help for the others in exchange....so,no more free...but about non free ,on DK street, is not place to talk...

Thanks for the help anyways. I found the trasdata stuff on a Russian site. now just looking for firmware update info.
