Anyone tried one of these yet, a 2014 Audi Q3. You cant enetr service mode through OBD so it must be done the eeprom way but where is the eeprom on this dash? Im looking for a 24C64 i think? No thats not the eeprom circled by the way

On VW it is very easy, Just go anti clockwise and pull up. I never damage any motor in VW ever doing it this way.
After you put in with VCDS you can active each needle and get it to right position.

BTW, when you open next time dash , do it professional with hot air , instead cutting sticker, that way when you put back no one can see that dash was open.
Here you can see how. look at first 30 sec of video and see how you can pill out sticker with out damage:

VCDS can calibrate the needles?

To get needles to 100% right position. Example ,
You go to 17-instuments,
Output test ,
Coolant temp gauge,
Temp gauge will go all the way to 130C then go back to 0 , then stop on 90C. If you have needles pass or before 90C you remove it and put it exactly at 90C.
