Guys, is it possible to go past 5355rpm with this ecu?
I need rev limitter at least 6000rpm. I bet popcorn would sound great at this rpm.

If i get past 5355 rpm, sometimes car starts to rev itself for a few secs to 6000rpm and dies or works fine after, I get dtc something like "motordrehzahl uberdreht"
725CC doesnt help.

because you extend limiter.
I say only three words for that: VERY BAD IDEA.

not bad, motor already have uprated valve springs, diferrent cams, bigger nozzles with cr2 injector bodys, cp3 and so on. I really need to set limitter higher

For high RPM engine must be FORGED, with bigger nozzles case is much more worst.
For you risk sure maybe some one help you in free time, maybe even me. But thats much rising it;s not only change few values.

I dont care about the risk and etc. Engine revs itself to 6000 rpm if I past 5355 limiter ant everything is fine. Can you give me some hints or smth?

And, 6000 7000 rpm is not high rpm for this engine.

if you really insist, find damos for you're file and start searching limiters, torque lim and maps axis..
but i bet it wold sound like crap and smoke like a nuclear plant

and last word... senseless work... that's will not give power, that's will not give any fun.
But sure will really rise temperature (depend how it will be done) and engine oil loose own parameters.

Limiters, limiters ok, but RPM limiter is not imposed without purpose. That's my opinion

I definitely agree with that!
The other day i saw a diesel somewhere around 7k rpm...running on oil of course but that's not the point here :hmmmm2:

Purpose is to get longer gears, sometimes its better to hit limitter for a few seconds and not to change gear in drift. I totaly agree that there wouldnt be any good power, but enough to spin wheels in first three gears. Done some logging work. SOMETIMES, when car exceeds 5400 rpm, it goes all the way to 6000rpm itself (on dash), but testo reads 0 rpm at that moment. after few secs of hiting 6000rpm car runs fine. sometimes it revs to 5500 5600 just fine.
