AUDI A4 S-LINE 170BHP .. CHIP OR NOT CHIP ??

Hi All

I have an Audi A4 s-line 170bhp 57plate -2008 , speaking to a few people , some say chip it some say don't ??

has anyone done this ??

People are talking about dpf ?? whats this do ??

any advice would be good thanks

Do it. A correct performed tuning will give you more power and the DPF won't suffer. You might even save a little bit of fuel.

We already make lot of this cars , till now now problem - the only one think is that if you want all to be ok DPF need to be removed not only software but also hardware , cause after remap i important to not have back pressure of the exaust gas !
And not in the last place the tune need to be GOOD and tested , after that you will be happy usually after good remap can be get +35h.p and +60/70 nm safety ! and will not have any problem and you will like it also will have some fuel economy if you drive normal .

if it's a CR TDI 170 don't expect alot on mpg they are crap mpg standard an still crap mapped
get a proper map like technic said
if town driving defo recommend dpf off

Golf 7 and BMW 1 just after warranty broken turbo on stock engine.
What's going on with Garrett.
Dude use KKK as Porsche.
I suspect under VW logo there's Alfa sign and engine.
There is no VW reliability after MK3.
