Hello,
I have bought lexia tool from aliexpress. It is full chip version, rev C. I have installed Lexia v349 software on new windows xp sp3 (msdn). I have citroen c5 2003. Diagnostic tool works only with VAN modules but doesn't work for CAN bus. I can't connect to injection, suspension, ABS, transmission and right/left head lamp. Lexia is installed properly, accordingly to youtube's tutorials.

When I'd installed software and connected lexia tool to the car first time, I've chosen global test. Tool has been connected to ALL modules except injection. When I tried to check errors in some modules by lexia tool there was sound "bip" in my car and on the display was error " brake fault" and red light of "brake" icon flashed on dashboard. I turned off lexia.

Next time when I tried connect diagnostic tool to the car I wasn't able to connect to injection, suspension, ABS, transmission and right/left head lamp. I tried to connect with my old elm327. Everything worked fine. I was able to read and delete errors etc. Elm connect by CAN bus like lexia should do. I have checked fuse box and fuses and all are ok. 2 days ago I connected my lexia to other c5 face lift from 2004. Everything worked! My car has van-can bus. C5 after face lift has CAN-CAN bus. Maybe that is a problem?

Thank you for the link to lexia repair. I have bought tool on this auction: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014-Top-PP2000-Lexia-3-Diagnostic-Tool-for-firmware-4-3-2-Citroen-Peugeot-V47-Lexia/1961978316.html
I know that buying something on aliexpress is a lottery but when I have connected lexia first time to my car it worked. Then it stopped connecting with suspension and etc. Like I wrote earlier it still work for c5 2004 and connect with every single module. Maybe there is something wrong with my car ? Is it possible to have problems because board (where fuses are plugged in) or some wires are broken?

I've tried but on newer car - C5 2004 (mine is 2003). Everything has worked without problems. When I do a global test lexia stuck for about 2 min. at injectors testing. On this newer car there is no stoppage. Lexia checks modules one by one.

I know for that problem with Lexia from China. I have the same problem with two Lexia device from Aliexpress. I can only suggest you to buy this device from http://sklad66.com/cms/PSA-XS-EVOLUTION-Peugeot-Citroen-Lexia-3.html
Believe me it's very good and tested device with warranty of 1 year. I buy from them few Lexia devices for me and for my colleagues.

Thank You Cesarec. But it is 25% more expensive than my lexia and I don't want to buy another one.

I have found advertisement where someone can repair lexia connection with can and k-line buses problem. Probably I have to send to him my lexia and maybe he'll repair it. And I have read that someone has the same problem with connection to one citroen c5 and he tried on many different cars (citroens and peugeotes) with no problems. After some time he tried to connect to this first car (with issue) and lexia has started to work ! He have the same story with chinese autocom and audi a4 b7. He said "Best Chinese quality of products" :)

Ok, now I have repaired lexia interface, but it still can't connect with injection module. I have done global test in lexia. Everything worked up to injection. Then laptop's screen blinked and made darker (I thought that laptop is turned off) and after that break fault showed on my car's dashboard. It looked like a short circuit. Than lexia connected with rest of the modules (only on headlamps was "?" mark, but i was able to connect and diagnose headlamps). So is it possible that my car has electronic issue? Elm connect and read faults.

I have asked guy who repaired interface, where was the problem with lexia. "Electronics issues" he said :/ .

Is it possible to tell the engine ECU's type of both cars?

I don't know type of ECU's but I know that my car uses VAN-CAN bus and the newer one uses CAN-CAN bus. So there is problem with the k-line on the lexia board. I've talked with guy who repaired lexia. He will repair it again :) Now he will be focused on k-line circuit.

Try pp2000 and select P307 or smth like P406.
Engine ecu is the same for all these cars.
Somehow I always use pp2000. Lexia is like some unfinished soft. Telecoding is awful.

And also, you could check if it's ok with k-line. If i remember correctly van-can use kline to connect to ecu.

Exactly right. Working k-line is most important in lexia when somebody tries to connect to c5 mkI pre facelift.

I have sent interface back to the technician. He should repair k-line on the warranty. I have to wait and when I will have this pice of chines sh*** I'll try to connect as P460.

latest news.
The man who repair my lexia interface thinks that my laptop has some problems with motherboard or my lexia software isn't installed properly. He has checked (as he says) every single circuit and electronic element on the interface pcb. Hi says "all works". So now i'm waiting for delivery with again repaired i-face and i'll check on other laptop. But it is weird, elm 327 works like a charm and lexia has problems with laptop's motherboard (??)
