Hello DK,
I have a 2001 Cabrio that has no keys.. Pulled the Immo box, 6H0 953 257B and read the Texas Instruments TMS370C702 Chip with Xprog. AVDI is giving me a pin of 2681 and so is Zedbull..
I wrote a 7935 chip with both, AVDI and Zedbull, but neither start the car. Logged in with VCDS and the immo says the key is correct, but needs to be programmed.. When I try and log in, VCDS loses connection with the IMMO box.. it does this with any five digit pin code... So I am thinking I might have the wrong pin... Can anyone read this bin and tell me the pincode?
Thanks in advance,
Tim

1) does engine run 1 second then stop?
2) LEECH another dump with known pin look see if you see it
3) any bits of solder in there afterwards

did you remive chip or solder to it?

the pin is 02681. do you have comunication with diagnostic on ecu? what is status in parameters? ecu locked or not? maybe you dont have +on ecu. chek relays or something if you cant test ecu with diagnostic... what tipe of ecu you have? is diesel or gasoline? did you think abouth immo off? maybe change immo box to repair the car

The car doesn't even turn over... The ECU throws a fault of start blocked by immo... Does anyone have a spare bin I could look at? I removed chip and used the adapter in the Xprog kit... No bits of solder, that was my first thoughts.. I can communicate with the Immo, and the DME, but can't talk to the cluster....
Thanks for the input...

It has the 2.0 gas... and I think you are right, there must be something that is causing this... I can talk to the DME, it has code showing start blocked by immo...

Errr THINK had this twice before, no reason
just odd, "engine start blocked by immo "

odd wont crank? CHECK ENGINE EARTH. AS MISSING CAN FRY ECU

Emulator or if 2.0 THINK to immo off need to do resarch first

Now you need to fix synchro ECU - immo, keys
They are about 5 minutes of work

Well explain in detail using braille, diagrames etc etc

Sorry, don't understand... Why would I need to sync the ECU to the Immo??? I could understand syncing the key to the Immo, but the ECU is already synced to the Immo..

Prepared to ID42 and login to module 25 right? Did you try a third new 7935 when doing VCDS. Or one of the old ones which was already written into dump with the two other tools?
It can be a locked/unlocked issue. (It locks it in the dump, and maybe it needs to be unlocked, then adapt to vehicle and it keeps itself unlocked after adapted and running).
If not tried the third yet, maybe you can try this also.

366829Get the zedbull effi program, or avdi tagkeytool, and add Keys directly to dump!

Whenever I try and log into the immo using VCDS, it looses connection... I tried one key programmed to the dump with effi, and also one added to the dump with AVDI.... This car is cursed...

Try to write blank 7935 to the USED KEY position. do not need to write back the dump.
