Mercedes CLK W209 EIS Dead arfter read

Mercedes CLK W209 all keys lost. Removed the EIS read it with Rosfar270 (3K91D) HC12. Got all Info from dump including Password, generated new key files added a new key in No3 slot but did not work. New key reads ok but EIS not working, Can't read via IR could read it original before with IR prior to reading with rosfar.
Have I missed out on something?
Any help appreciated

maybe, your flash was currupt by r270
i had that almost reading hc12
rewrite flash

Hi, I did but still the same. Its the second time and both disaster. I read the Eeprom, maybe I should have read the flash first.

Put full part number of EIS on here, someone will have flash for you

R270 is not good for 3K91D, use Xprog or Smok for this MCU. Post full EZS number maybe I can help you

I have Xprog. As far as I am aware you have to lift pin, which would mean dismantling EIS

Perfect flash for you EIS.. Used it many times..

And if you a re writing flash with r260 then it won't write all of it so will appear to still be dead!

Managed to make the cable for Xprog as mentioned by p1et, the cable works and can I use Xprog to programme it ?
I don't have R260 only R270 and don't fancy taking any more chances. The other confusing thing is:
Acording to Xprog 5.51
3K91D = MC68HC912Dx128A and
0K50E = MC68HC912Dx128
Which one shall I select?

3K91D is what you want. I've written a few with r270 but some don't work again. You need Smok Jtag

try this flash with r270.
i had currupt flash by r270
i'll use this or another part number flash files for hc12 mcu.
your part number is correct this
write flash by r270
and write back original eeprom
if not work, check esl and original eeprom

Update
Originally I could read EIS on bench with MB BGA Tool.
After read with R270 I could not read on bench
After re-flashing with R270 & Mprog with flash from MarkPRP and original Eeprom, I still could not read on bench.
Today I got my SMOK BDM-JTAG, I wrote the full flash from MarkPRP and the original Eeprom, which I had read with R270 and bingo the EIS accept a new key and turns.
Tomorrow I shall go to the car and test.
Conclusion, throw R270 in the bin.
