Bmw E60 keys and Multitool

Hallo

Just a quick question for Bmw expert.
I have Bmw multitool, never used before for key learning.
My customer need a spare key for a Bmw E60.
He lost one of the two key.One key is available.
The key is usual remote key 868 mhz.I have the usual chinese copy.

My question is, just to avoid failures and damages.
Ca i use multitool with keylearning function without problem?
I don't want to risk damage or data loss.I need a secure way to do the key.
Which is the correct way to do key coding?
Can i disable the lost key?
Can someone share some info about the steps to do key coding and disabling the lost key?
Any help appreciated.

you can you the Multitool to do spare key yes.
all the steps are in the program (pdf).
and use without problem is not possible with no tool.
there is Always something that can go wrong so no guarantee!

Hallo friends

Just to add some info on this thread.
Today i've made the key using multitool.
The cars is Bmw E61 year 2005.
The steps i've done for coding a spare keys are:
1) Connecting multitool to car via autodetect button.
2) Go to keylearning function.
3) Reading the list of keys from Cas and save the .bin file to HD.
4) Push make deleare key
5) Program key with multitool function
6) Disable lost key
7) Syncronize cas and elv
8) After that a lot of errors are memorized inside car module.The active steering lost his initialization
9) Cleared all dtc from units.
10) Done a active steering sensor initialization
11) Done another dtc clear.
12) Job done
