As everything I have tried with SMOK (which is quite a lot) has worked flawlessly, I am sure it will. My only reservation would be the 25 minutes it takes to complete. I would think to remove/replace the dash and do it direct to the eeprom, wouldn't take much longer than 25 minutes, if at all. Arthur.

Drop the steering column ... and the cluster falls out .... :)

I did few of them and had to dismantle steering column. If I can save my time by doing this by OBD then I prefer this way

16 min need to remove cluster from car and 6 min need to remove eprom from board, this is my experience with c5 2011 year from yesterday, good luck

Video is from old shape new shape is a bit of a pain but you dont have to drop steering column if you split clocks in situ by removing 4 x T20 screws from front surround it leaves just cluster which you can then slide out from the side

From my experience always do dash then bsi. I havent tried c5 yet but I have done 208,5008,3008,new c4....
