I have a E65 with N62 engine in repairs with wrong software versions for EGS and DME. Some "smart" cable owner has flashed both so many times that UIF fields are full. What should be the solution? Is there any option ever for editing UIF section?
I have some spare dme and egs modules. Is the only way to change egs module and flash it with right sw version and vin. Same for dme plus virginizing it, not hard to do, but still intresting if anybody has been in the same situation.
Is editing the UIF possible at all without desoldering memory ic-s.
