Hi

I'm experiencing problem with reading eeprom 35080 using carprog. I try A6 adapter, 35080 desoldered from the board and still no read or write is possible. What I,m doing wrong? How to read that thing with carprog maybe somebody can show me how to connect to the eeprom.

year 2000. I think is the carprog problem or wrong connection (not 100% sure the a6 clip how it should be) becouse I have brand new 35080 and when I try to write it show error

maybe its not a 35080.. but a 93c66?? post a pic of eeprom

Is your carprog original, clone, or clone modified?

I belive that most people dont use that clip A6 it`s piece of junk, you can never make any connection with that clip. Make your own adapter whick will be easier to work with. Anyway if you have bad connection it would show 0000`s, error ocured usually when is 35080 demaged. Also some time ago when I got counter on my clone it was 4.01, I could`nt write 35080, I could read only, but on writing error showed up.

When I try to read it shows only FFFF's and error -" Unknown version" message the same when I try to write. I will make adapter for eeprom, anyway how do You know which pin from carprog is goin to pin 1 on eeprom? (clip may be cannected upside down if not know the right way) Did U disable the counter on Yours?

I partialy solve the problem it was badly made a6 clip but still can,t write milage i can only edit in eeprom section manualy then its writing. why carprog from milage section is not writing any changes ?

just buy R270 programmer /only 70 USD/ for 35080

I can program 35080 now but I need mileage calculator for different cars, like the carprog built in, which is not working for me for some reason :(
