Ill start in dumbasss mode...:stupido3:

So.. needed to read 24c04,tried in circuit, soldered 5 wires, hit read and the dump appeared..
so far so good.. edited dump, hit write and ...verifies error ,read again ,dump was unchanged..
Double check wiring/soldering 2 times,
Removed from circuit same story,
Solved with another tool that read/write same cip in and out of circuit .
Now,what can i possibly do wrong ,or what did i miss here??
Ill throw it on the desk later and do some more tests, till then maybe someone here can shed some light...

Right upload your dumps here for safe keeping

blank the chip fill with 00

remove ALL usb things, cup warmver, vac cleaner
connect direct to usb port

Thanks for reply mate, already tried without cup warmer, didn't cross my mind to unplug vac cleaner...

Took the time to search in the bin and i ended up with a collection of 24/ 02,04,08,16,64 to test and all read/write no problem..
Read the section in the datasheet.. 'Write Protect Pin for Hardware Data Protection'
and still confused,
eeprom was soldered in adapter ,so it was easy to switch in another programmer that did the job, that theoretical rules out the 'connections issues'

Anyway i blame the 'dumbasss mode...:stupido3:' i was in yesterday...
