hi to all, i try today to read an eeprom 3508006 from an astra h dashboard with carprog, and no success, only FFFFF display, i try with other clock's and everything was ok, is any chance that someone to crypt the eeprom to read or write, this is the first time when i try to read and i can't, untill today i read many clock's and was ok

not normally no, they are readable.. Did you 'clip' it or remove and read.. not familiar with carprog myself.. Sometimes if clipped and not on properly the actual process of reading it can corrupt the eprom itself.. Happend to me on a astra h screen.. Had to load a fresh file on to it.

with clip, tomorrow ill try to removit from dash, with clip until now was ok,

You need to remove the chip anyway because you have to erase or change it , so remove and read , you need eraser or a new chip ,

i don't want to erase'it, i just want to read'it, i dont't think is corrupted, after i try to read'it, i install clock on car, and they are working perfect, anyway someone has read and write the eeprom, i see that was desolder and solder again
