Hi all
got me box today :) :)
downloaded the Bin file 1.12
but i keep seeing this logo file mentioned do i need this aswell ?
dont want to flash it yet if i need this file also on the memory stick and mess it up

if you switch your box on and see the logo screen (on a SV2 the logo is THE BOX) then the logo file is already loaded

No mate you don't need it the logo should already be on. From what I hear there is a few problems with v1.12 it's up to you I recommend v1.07 it's the most stable. which ever you decide add the logo file to your flash stick anyway and when you do set the box up you can always put it on. ;)

well all up and running with v1.12 no problems at the moment

oh one more thing i have a legit set top box which i pay for only ?10 a month should i keep this running? or can i turn it off now and just have my new box on

i flashed my sv4 with v1.07 bin and it's working fine upto now here in uk

not adviseable to switch of your legit box as your cable provider download/uploads information to it.switching it off and leaving it off could only arouse suspicion.

I do suggest from time to time plugging it in to let it update but otherwise its up2 you what you do with ya legit box

if i couple my starview 4 via a splitter to my vm box
to keep the upgrades comming in,
would this cause any problems to both boxes
and would i draw attention to myself from you know who

no, done this for 18 months, never had to use a booster, pics are spot on. hope you are as lucky as me...
